At JHMS-NDA, we uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical scholarship. All submissions undergo rigorous editorial and peer review to ensure originality and compliance with scholarly ethics.

❌ What Constitutes Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and includes:

  • Direct copying of another’s work without proper citation
  • Self-plagiarism (reusing significant parts of one’s own published work without disclosure)
  • Fabrication or manipulation of data or sources
  • Use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate manuscript content

Manuscripts partially or wholly generated using AI tools (e.g., for writing content, analysis, or referencing) will be automatically rejected.

📜 Ethical Compliance

JHMS-NDA adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Conduct and utilizes COPE Flowcharts in investigating and resolving cases of suspected plagiarism or publication misconduct.

✅ Author Responsibilities

To maintain academic integrity, authors must:

  • Submit only original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere
  • Properly cite and quote any referenced works or ideas
  • Avoid duplicate submission or multiple publication of the same research
  • Acknowledge all sources of data, quotations, and intellectual contributions

📌 Submission Declaration

By submitting a manuscript to JHMS-NDA, authors confirm that:

  • The work is entirely their own
  • All sources are appropriately acknowledged
  • No content has been generated using AI tools
  • The manuscript has not been submitted elsewhere concurrently

Failure to comply with this policy may result in rejection, retraction, or disciplinary action in accordance with international ethical standards.
